Im new to the U.S,absolutely clueless about everything.how am i gonna live a life here?

im 27 years old,i moved with my husband and a 3.5 year old daughter.i just dont know how life works here.whether it's using a bus,cab or train to go somewhere,just simply moving in society or even dressing myself up for the market,im just a klutz! and i donno what to do about my daughter,how to get her into school or find friends for her.how to arrange playdates,how to find friends for my own self.what should i be knowing about different kinds of documents.im on h4 visa so i cant work.my husbands on h-1 so we cant really afford education for myself too.but life in this stagnant situation sucks and i feel so lonely and useless.
