The touchscreen on my Nintendo DS broke?

So I was walking my kitchen playing my Nintendo DS Lite playing a game [Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Explorers of the Sky ;D ] and, being the klutz that I am, I dropped my DS..one the floor, face down, on the touchscreen... After that it went black. I can still select stuff, I just can't see what I'm selecting. My pokemon game is on the bottom screen so I can't even play it. =// Does anyone know a way to fix it? It's actually my boyfriends DS, and we've tried tapping it, recharging it, shutting it on and off, taking the game out and turning it off and back on...Nothing worked... Help please?
