Ubuntu Linux File Manager.?

When i try to open trash or something that has to do with file manager it opens a window that says: Failed to execute default File Manager(Title), Failed to execute child process "transmission" (No such file or directory). I remember typing in transmission to some window when i was looking for the bit torrent client. im a bit of a noob to linux so any help would be appreciated thanks :)
